Terms of Use

1. Scope of application

The following terms of use provide interested parties with the right to use a free online demo of the 360° Managed PKI & CLM software subject to the following conditions.

By using the online demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM, the interested party agrees to the terms of use.

This online demo is provided to the interested party (hereinafter also referred to as “User”) by the 360° German Security Alliance (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”), represented by DARZ GmbH, Julius-Reiber-Straße 11, 64293 Darmstadt, Germany, and the Managing Director Jürgen Henzler.

The 360° German Security Alliance consists of the following members (also “360 GSA members”):

  • DARZ GmbH, Julius-Reiber-Straße 11, 64293 Darmstadt and the Managing Director Jürgen Henzler (also DARZ)
  • MTG AG, Dolivostraße 11, 64293 Darmstadt and the Managing Directors Jürgen Ruf and Tamer Kemeröz (also MTG)
  • XELANED GmbH, Munich Airport Business Park, Ludwigstrasse 47, 85399 Hallbergmoos and the Managing Director Dennis Woicke (also XELANED)

2. Prerequisites for use

2.1 Conditions for Participation

Only individuals who truthfully provide the data requested in the questionnaire and have successfully applied and confirmed the link received by e-mail will be admitted to use the online demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM.

Questionnaire data includes, for example

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company
  • Email (business)
  • Phone Number (business)
  • Questions regarding the processing of the registration

The provider reserves the right to reject the application for the online demo offer 360° Managed PKI & CLM without giving reasons not to process it immediately or at all. The use of 360° Managed PKI & CLM in certain countries covered by the Dual Goods Regulation is expressly prohibited. In case of doubt, the provider reserves the right to examine individual requests more closely and to contact the user using the data provided in the application form.

The test offered under the domain “https://360-german-security-alliance.com/” is aimed exclusively at interested parties who are entrepreneurs. “Entrepreneurs” within the meaning of these terms of use are natural or legal persons or partnerships with legal capacity who are acting in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity when concluding the free test phase. Companies that compete with their own PKI products are excluded from use.

2.2 Scope of services and disclaimer

The object of Online Demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM is the provision of a web browser-based platform for the test phase of eight weeks for use by the registered interested party using a remote data connection via the Internet. Upon provision, the user receives the technical possibility and authorization to access the Online-Demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM software solution via the Internet and to use all functionalities of the product.
The Online Demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM contains the full range of functions of the commercial offer, but does not have an HSM connection, no backup option, no redundancy, and no geo-duplication.

It is provided free of charge and is intended for testing and information purposes only. Commercial use is excluded.

After the end of the test phase, all settings and data, including the generated and managed certificates, can no longer be used on the platform. If desired, it is possible to extend the test phase with a “proof of concept”. This can be requested at the contact address provided (mpki@da-rz.de).

No support (incl. maintenance) in the traditional sense is provided for the online demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM.

However, the user can have questions about the software, the range of functions, and use cases answered in a non-binding consultation.

The provider accepts no liability, guarantee, or warranty for any consequences arising from the use of the online demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM. Use is at the user’s own risk and the user waives any claims for damages or other claims. The 360° Managed PKI & CLM online demo is operated on the provider’s servers.

By posting content, the user grants all 360° GSA members the right to use the respective content free of charge for storage on the servers operated by the provider and assures that they are authorized to grant the corresponding rights.

2.3 Data protection

The user expressly agrees that the provider may use the personal data provided for contact or queries. The data protection provisions of DARZ GmbH apply (available at: https://360-german-security-alliance.com/privacy-policy/). The user may at any time object in writing to the storage of his/her personal data by the above data protection provisions.
The rights of use to the online demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM expire as a result and further use of the software is no longer permitted.

2.4 Period of use

The user can test the service free of charge for eight weeks after successful registration. Cancellation is not necessary in this case. Use ends automatically eight weeks after registration. Data entered by the user for test purposes to use the software will be permanently deleted by the provider immediately after the end of the test phase unless the user receives an extension of the test phase during the period of use. No backups of the data are made and it is not possible to restore the user account after the end of the test phase.

2.5 Copyright

All copyrights are reserved by MTG. The online demo 360° Managed PKI & CLM may therefore only be used for personal purposes. Commercial marketing or integration for the marketing of any software products is prohibited and requires the written consent of MTG. Users may therefore not reproduce, replicate, transfer, distribute, publish or commercially exploit the 360° Managed PKI & CLM software. The access data must be stored carefully and not passed on to third parties (including competitors), in particular to those who offer comparable cyber security products. The provider reserves the right to initiate criminal or civil proceedings in the event of non-compliance.

2.6 Reservation of right of amendment

The Provider has the right to amend or extend these Terms of Use for future software versions at any time. The current Terms of Use can be viewed at the following address: https://360-german-security-alliance.com/terms-of-use/

2.7 Retention of title

By transferring the access data for the software, the user only receives a right of use, but no ownership rights.

2.8 Severability clause

Should any of the above provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a substitute provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose intended by the invalid provision.
